One of his most beautiful designs, this two-handle celadon earthenware campana urn, part of a collection of three from the Keith Murray celadon design for Wedgwood. With a delicate form and two small ivory handles. The combination of pale green and the ivory white base look wonderful together. Base shows makers mark.

Keith Day Pearce Murray (1892 - 1981) was a New Zealand-born architect and designer who worked as a ceramics, glass, and metalware designer for Wedgwood in the 1930s and 1940s. He is considered one of the most influential designers of the Art Deco style. His designs look as fresh today as they did over 80 years ago.
